Static buzz
|
I liked the Images on the pages; they draw you in and are very
colourful. The masthead stands out because it is white; it stands against the
dark background. There is a lot of information on the double page spread and
there are pull lines and page numbers.
|
The text is bold and all white, it doesn’t fit with the theme
properly and looks unprofessional. The text on the front page in the red box
doesn’t fit in very well, it is the wrong colour scheme and the font looks
unprofessional. The pull lines on the front cover also don’t fit in well and
the font used in the masthead doesn’t look good because it looks blurry and
doesn’t stand out.

Rock n roll
|
The composition of the contents page and double page spread is really
good as it is well laid out. The colour scheme is really good and the colours
fit the genre of the magazine. The contents age has titles, which are grey,
and text, which is black. The font is really good, it is easy to read and
looks professional, and it looks like an actual magazines font.
|
The image on the front cover isn’t well edited and looks like it has
just been plonked in the middle of the page without thinking of composition,
the edges of the image are all choppy and it looks like they haven’t took
care with the editing. The text on the front cover is in a bad font and
doesn’t feel like it fits with the magazine in general.

Broadsword
|
The image on the front cover is good quality. The text of the masthead
looks good, the font and colours are fitting.
|
The font for all of the pull lines and most of the text throughout
the magazine is really bad. The images are distorted and overall the magazine
looks really unprofessional.
