Photo shoot planning document

What emotional impact do you want your photography do have upon the reader? How?
The images will draw the readers in and want them to read the magazine; they will be bright and eye catching, i will make them large and hight megapixel so they are a good quality, i will add effects to make to colours more vibrant and the background whiter, i will make the image look overall better to draw the reader in on the front page. The contents page will have the same but not as eye catching so they read the information. The double page spread will have one large image fading into text so will be large and eye catching.

What personnel do you need? Who are you going to photograph?
I am going to photography myself and friends in my photography class, this is the easiest way to do it.

What props will you need?
I will not need any props as someone is going to pose as a singer or artist, they may have headphones if it doesn’t look good in the first pictures.

How are you going to emphasise colour?
I am going to use effects on Photoshop to make the images colour look good.

Have you briefed your personnel/models?
Yes, I have told them what they need to do and how they should do it, I have shown them how to work the lighting and also how to pose for the images.

What lighting will you need? Any other equipment?
I will be using studio lighting and have a soft box to light the model, I will use a bright light on the background so there are no shadows from the model.

Where will you shoot? Will you need a backdrop?
I will shoot in the studio at shiney row college, I will have a white backdrop because it will look good on the magazine, and look more professional.

Make-up? Costume?
There will be no makeup as I will just edit on Photoshop, and the outfit will be just normal clothes as it is singer.
